Welcome
The Instructional Technology Department provides support and maintenance of school network infrastructures and computer equipment as well as providing training to all staff members on how to effectively utilize this equipment. Our District Technology Coaches provide support, coaching, and professional development for teachers integrating technology into their lessons.
Technology Fee
GSCS has adopted a 1:1 program, which will provide a chromebook computer to each student, which he/she is to use as a positive learning tool in coordination with the District’s curriculum. As part of ensuring that devices are operational and easily repaired, a $10 Technology Insurance fee is assessed to all students. If you wish for your child to have a devices permanently assigned to him/her, the fee is required. However, if you choose, you can opt of paying the fee, and a device will be available for him/her to use at the teacher's discretion.
