Dear Griffin Region College & Career Academy (GRCCA) students, we have passed the 1st 9 Week Midterm date and I strongly encourage you to review grades and assignments to get a clear understanding of your academic performance. Parents, I strongly encourage you to sit alongside your child to get a gauge of where they are a quarter through this semester. If you determine the need for assistance our GRCCA team will assist with peer tutoring in the Student Center. For more detail see “Tutoring at GRCCA” in the description below. In addition, see Special Needs Accommodations and GaFutures Announcement information below. Again, please do not hesitate to reach out to the GRCCA staff if you have any questions or concerns.

GAFutures Announcement
All students should complete their GAFutures application annually in order to receive funding. Failing to do so will result in the family absorbing the cost for dual enrollment tuition, etc. Please review the names on the smart board as you enter the GRCCA foyer. If you see your name go to www.gafutures.org to apply for dual enrollment funding. Attention Male Students - Federal law requires males, between the ages of 18 to 25, living in the US, to register with the Selective Service System in order to receive dual enrollment funding. All males 18+ years old should register at www.sss.gov/register/
